Browser Support
Internet Explorer 10, Firefox, Opera, and Chrome support the formnovalidate attribute.
Note:Safari or Internet Explorer 9 and earlier versions do not support the formnovalidate attribute of the <input> tag.
Definition and Usage
The novalidate attribute is a boolean attribute.
The novalidate attribute specifies that the <input> element should not be validated when the form is submitted.
The formnovalidate attribute overrides the <form> element'snovalidateattribute.
Note:The formnovalidate attribute can be used with type="submit".
Differences between HTML 4.01 and HTML5
The formnovalidate attribute is a new attribute in HTML5.
