Definition and Usage
The ftruncate() function truncates an open file to the specified length.
Returns TRUE on success, or FALSE on failure.
Syntax
ftruncate(file,size)

| file | Required. Specifies the open file to be truncated. |
| size | Required. Specifies the new file size. |
