Definition and Usage

The end() function moves the internal pointer to the last element of an array and outputs it.

Related functions:

  • current()- Returns the value of the current element in an array.
  • next()- Moves the internal pointer to the next element in an array and outputs it.
  • prev()- Moves the internal pointer to the previous element in an array and outputs it.
  • reset()- Moves the internal pointer to the first element in an array and outputs it.
  • each()- Returns the key name and value of the current element, and moves the internal pointer forward.

end(array)

Parameters Description
array Required. Specifies the array to use.

Technical Details

Return value: Returns the value of the last element in the array if successful, or FALSE if the array is empty.
