The Linux timeconfig command is used to set the time zone.

This is a program developed by Red Hat following the GPL rules. It has an interactive interface, and you can easily use the arrow keys and spacebar to set the time zone of the system time.

Syntax

timeconfig [--arc][--back][--test][--utc][时区名称]

Parameters:

  • --arc Store the system time in the format used by the Alpha hardware architecture.
  • --back In the interactive interface, display a Back button instead of a Cancel button.
  • --test Only for testing, does not actually change the system time zone.
  • --utc Treat the time on the hardware clock as CUT, sometimes also called UTC or UCT.
