Linux testparm Command

Linux 命令大全Linux Command Encyclopedia

The Linux testparm command is used to test whether the Samba configuration is correct.

Executing the testparm (test parameter) command can simply test the Samba configuration file. If the test results are correct, the Samba resident service can load the configuration values correctly, but it does not guarantee that subsequent operations will proceed as expected.

Syntax

testparm [-s][配置文件][<主机名称><IP地址>]

Parameter Description:

  • -s Do not display the prompt symbol waiting for the user to press Enter; directly list the Samba service definition information.
