jQuery Mobile Events Reference Manual
The following list contains all jQuery Mobile events.
Note:Please use the on() method to bind events.

| hashchange | Enables the markable #hash history. The hash value changes when an independent click occurs, such as when a user clicks the back button, and it will be handled through the hashchange event. |
| navigate | Event that wraps the hashchange and popstate events |
| orientationchange | Orientation change event, triggered when the user rotates the mobile device vertically or horizontally. |
| pagebeforechange | Event triggered before page switching. Use $.mobile.changePage() to switch pages. This method triggers 2 events: the pagebeforechange event before switching, and pagechange (success) or pagechangefailed (failure) after switching. |
| pagebeforecreate | Triggered before initialization when the page is initialized. |
| pagebeforehide | Event triggered after page switching but before the old page is hidden. |
| pagebeforeload | Triggered before the load request is sent. |
| pagebeforeshow | Event triggered after page switching and before the page is shown. |
| pagechange | Event triggered after successful page switching. Use $.mobile.changePage() to switch pages. This method triggers 2 events: the pagebeforechange event before switching, and pagechange (success) or pagechangefailed (failure) after switching. |
| pagechangefailed | Event triggered when page switching fails. Use $.mobile.changePage() to switch pages. This method triggers 2 events: the pagebeforechange event before switching, and pagechange (success) or pagechangefailed (failure) after switching. |
| pagecontainerbeforeload | Triggered before loading any request. |
| pagecontainerload | Triggered after the page is successfully loaded and inserted into the DOM. |

| pagehide | Event triggered after the old page is hidden following a page switch. |

| pageremove | Triggered before the external page is removed from the DOM in the window view. |
| pageshow | Triggered on the "arrival" page after the transition animation completes. |
| scrollstart | Triggered when the user starts scrolling the page. |

| swipe | Triggered when the user slides horizontally on an element. |
| swipeleft | Triggered when the user swipes across the element from the left by more than 30px. |
| swiperight | Triggered when the user swipes across the element from the right by more than 30px. |
| tap | Triggered when the user taps an element. |
| taphold | Triggered when the user taps an element and holds for one second. |
