jQuery Mobile Scroll Events

jQuery Mobile provides two scroll events: triggered when scrolling starts and triggered when scrolling ends.

jQuery Mobile Scrollstart

The scrollstart event is triggered when the user starts scrolling the page:

$(document).on("scrollstart",function(){
alert("Scrolling started!");
});

	Note:iOS devices lock DOM operations while scrolling, which means it is not possible to change anything while the user is scrolling. However, the jQuery team is looking for a solution for this.

The scrollstop event is triggered when the user stops scrolling the page:

$(document).on("scrollstop",function(){
alert("Scrolling stopped!");
});
