Example

Wrap a <b> element around the content of each <p> element:

$("button").click(function(){ $("p").wrapInner("<b></b>"); });

The wrapInner() method wraps the content (innerHTML) of each selected element with the specified HTML element.

$(selector).wrapInner(wrappingElement,function(index))
