ASP ASPErrorObject
The ASPError object is used to display error information that occurs in scripts in ASP files.
ASPError Object
The ASPError object takes effect in ASP 3.0 and is available in IIS5 and later versions.
The ASPError object is used to display detailed information about any errors that occur in scripts in ASP files.
Note:When Server.GetLastError is called, the ASPError object is created, so error information can only be accessed by using the Server.GetLastError method.
The properties of the ASPError object are described below (all properties are read-only):

| ASPCode | Returns the error code generated by IIS. |
| ASPDescription | Returns detailed information about the error (if the error is related to ASP). |
| Category | Returns the source of the error. (Is the error caused by ASP, a scripting language, or an object?) |
| Column | Returns the column position in the file where the error occurred. |
| Description | Returns a short description of the error. |
| File | Returns the name of the ASP file where the error occurred. |
| Line | Returns the line number where the error occurred. |
| Number | Returns the standard COM error code for the error. |
| Source | Returns the actual source code of the line where the error occurred. |
