Facebook internal sharing: No matter how rich you are, you can't earn more time, and you can't go back to the past. There aren't so many what-ifs, only the ticking of the clock as time flies and the present you should seize. The following 25 PPT slides will bring you time value management skills.
1. Time is always there; make time a priority.
2. There will always be time: plan only 4–5 hours of real work per day.
3. When you're in the zone, do more; otherwise, rest well: sometimes you're not in work mode for days, and sometimes when you are, you can work 12 hours a day. That's all normal.
4. Value your time and make it worth valuing: your time is worth $1000/hour, so you have to get moving.
5. Don't multitask; it only consumes attention. Stay focused, one thing at a time.
6. Develop work habits and stick to them; your body will adapt.
7. Within limited time, we are always very focused and efficient.
8. The best way to get into work mode is to work. Start with small tasks and get things moving.
9. Iterate work; expecting a perfect finish is suffocating: "Done is better than perfect." A motto posted on the Facebook office wall. Taking action beats any perfect imagination.
10. Longer working hours do not equal higher efficiency.
11. Work by importance to improve efficiency.
12. Schedule meetings as early as possible; time spent preparing for meetings is often wasted.
13. Combine meetings and communication (email or phone) to create uninterrupted work time: a small meeting can ruin an afternoon because it tears the afternoon into two smaller time slots, leaving you unable to get anything done. PS: When you see a programmer deep in thought, don't disturb them; even a greeting is unnecessary.
14. Keep the same work environment all day. Switching between projects/clients reduces efficiency.
15. Work—relax—work = high efficiency (Pomodoro Technique)—procrastination—high efficiency.
16. Break unrealistic tasks into reasonable small tasks. As long as you complete small tasks every day, you will get closer to the big goal.
17. No two tasks ever have the same priority. There will always be one more important. Carefully consider the to-do list.
18. You must know clearly what the one thing is that must be completed during the day. "Only ever work on the thing that will have the biggest impact" — only do the thing that has the greatest impact. — Jason Cohen
19. Break tasks into time segments, and you'll feel like it's almost done.
20. Delegate and make good use of others' power. — A gentleman makes good use of things (people). If someone else can do something 80% as well, give it to them!
21. Turn the page on yesterday; only consider today and tomorrow. Yesterday's home runs don't win today's games. — A hero doesn't boast about past glory.
22. Set a deadline for everything. Don't let work go on indefinitely.
23. For urgent or stressful tasks, set an end time. All things can come to an end.
24. Record more, take more notes.
25. Once you enter a highly efficient state, write down anything that distracts your attention, such as Google search terms, fleeting ideas, new ideas, etc. If you write them down, they won't keep bouncing around.
26. Rest, take a break~
