Returns the smallest number in JavaScript:

Number.MIN_VALUE;

Output result:

5e-324

The MIN_VALUE property is the smallest number representable in JavaScript (close to 0, but not negative). Its approximate value is 5 x 10^-324。

Note:Numbers smaller than the MIN_VALUE property will be represented as 0.

Note:MIN_VALUE is the number closest to 0 in JavaScript, not a negative value; the negative value property is MAX_NUMBER.

MIN_VALUE is a static property of the JavaScript Number object, so the way to call this property is: Number.MIN_VALUE.

Using a custom Number object x to call this property (x.MIN_VALUE) will return undefined:

var x = 100;
x.MIN_VALUE;

x Output result:

undefined

All major browsers support the MIN_VALUE property.
