Definition and Usage

The onmouseover event occurs when the mouse pointer moves onto a specified element.

Syntax

In HTML:

<element onmouseover="SomeJavaScriptCode">

In JavaScript:

object.onmouseover=function(){SomeJavaScriptCode};

Parameters Description
SomeJavaScriptCode Required. Specifies the JavaScript to execute when the event occurs.
