border-image-outset is used to specify the amount by which the border-image-area is drawn outside the border.

Syntax
border-image-outset: length|number;
Note:border-image-outset is used to specify the amount by which the border-image-area is drawn outside the border. It includes the top/bottom and left/right portions. If the fourth value is omitted, it is the same as the second. If the third is also omitted, it is the same as the first. If the second is also omitted, it is the same as the first. Negative values are not allowed for border-image-outset.
